Frederick (Rick) Schultz is Senior Vice President for the Focused Service Division of Hilton Worldwide reporting directly to Joe Berger.  Currently based out of the Memphis Operations Center, Schultz is responsible for 94 company-owned and managed hotels ranging in size from 41 to more than 228 rooms.  He and his team have operated a variety of hotels spanning Hampton, Homewood Suites by Hilton, Doubletree Club Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn and Embassy Suites throughout the United States and Mexico.

With over 25 years of hands-on experience in Multi Unit Operations and Asset Management with the brands he supports through Hilton and predecessors such as Promus, Schultz’s role encompasses results in operating performance, profitability, and growth through new management contracts.  His prior experiences also include divesting assets of a moderately sized management company/REIT covering a wide range of brands and hospitality segments down to entry level operation roles for two independent owner/operators.

Schultz is heavily involved in the creation and full execution of capital planning for existing locations and operational feasibility reviews for new deals.  He serves on the Homewood Suites Advisory Council in further development of the brand and assists in the review and/or implementation of brand initiatives and standards. 

Outside of his professional experiences, Schultz supports the community in which he lives by serving on the WKNO board of directors.  He has also held previous board positions with the Memphis Zoological Society.
